BIOLOGICALLY AVAILABLE SILICON FOR PLANT HEALTH

BIOSILICATE is a specially formulated liquid containing silicon in a soluble form available to the plant via irrigation or foliar application. It contains a unique blend of silicate with humate to ensure optimum bioavailability and benefit to the plant.

Silicon is not easily available from the soil as it is usually present at silica (Si02) which is virtually insoluble. It is however a very important adjuvant to plant growth as it strengthens cell walls and gives the following benefits:

Stronger stalks and stems reducing lodging
Better photosynthesis from extended leaves and extra chlorophyll
Reduced heat and drought stress
Better resistance to penetration by fungi, rusts and mildews
Better resistance to sucking insects such as aphids
Improved resistance to high salts or phytotoxins such as Aluminum

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

Prior to use check compatibility with any other products used at the same time. Spot-check on a small area before foliar treatments.

IRRIGATION:

Add 500 ml per 1000 litres of water at each watering

FOLIAR APPLICATIONS:

Use 325 ml per hectare diluted into 600-700 litres of water. Add a suitable wetter at manufacturers recommended levels.

TIMING OF APPLICATION:

Foliar applications can be made after first leaves appear then weekly until flower buds appear. Continue after fruit set until harvest.

GOLF GREENS:

Apply monthly during the playing season at 300 ml per green diluted in 25 litres of water. Spot-check a small area prior to use.

Always add BIOSILCATE to water and mix well.

Wear suitable eye and skin protection when handling the concentrate. In case of eye contact rinse immediately with plenty of water and obtain medical advice. Wash off any skin contact thoroughly with soap and water.
